Going Off on Orlando

I recently had a string of good games, so here’s the summary form. First up was Milwaukee again, this time at their place. Here’s about all you need to know about that game: me swatting Brandon Jennings’ three attempt to close the third quarter. I was solid, but there was a reason we blew them out.

This would be it. They played zero defense on us, and I lit them up for 5 of 6 on threes. I finished with 42 points, 11 rebounds, 5 assists and a block on 71% shooting.

I had a good game against the Knicks at home, scoring 32 points with 8 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals and a block on 63% shooting.

The same can’t be said for my charge, though. Raymond Felton had a bad game as I harassed him into a 1-11 shooting performance.

Lastly, we took it to Orlando. I wasn’t shooting great to stat the game, but that changed. Oh, how that changed.

I finished the game with a new career high in points with 54, and I tossed in 4 rebounds, 5 assists, 2 steals, a block and only 2 turnovers on 59% shooting. This offensive explosion was brought to you by one Brandon Mullins.

This young guy, the leading candidate for Rookie of the Year, was lightning in a bottle. He only scored 19 points but he also had 6 rebounds and 6 assists. He kind of reminded me of myself, filling out the whole stat sheet, but I wasn’t nearly that good at his age. His performance spurred me to show that I was better then he was, and I think I pulled it off.
